About this postcard

Looking across Eden Park in Cincinnati, a curving lake fills the foreground with a fountain jet playing at its center. A walk follows the water's edge, wooded hillsides rise behind it in summer green and autumn red, and a tall tower stands on the skyline above the trees. Eden Park occupies high ground above the Ohio River and was one of Cincinnati's principal public grounds, home to the Cincinnati Art Museum and later the Krohn Conservatory. By 1903 it was an established scenic retreat of carriage drives, walks, and overlooks within the city.
