The card shows a furnished bedroom in the House of Edison Light, with pink walls, a coffered ceiling, a four-poster bed, dark wood dressers, and chairs. An open doorway reveals a bathroom beyond. The room was arranged to show how electric light and fixtures could be built into a comfortable home. In the early 1900s, lighting companies used demonstration rooms and model houses to sell electric service, since many households still relied on gas or oil lamps.

No postmark. Undivided back ("For address only"), white border, glossy lithographic card. Printed advertising text on back for The House of Edison Light, 807 Main St., corner of Bacon St., Waltham, Mass. No handwriting, no stamp.
