About this postcard

A large rock formation resembling an elephant with its trunk extending into the water, topped with green trees, on the Washington coast. A smaller rock is visible through the arch, and the sky is tinted pink and blue. The printed caption calls it one of the "many weird and interesting figures" carved by the pounding surf on the rugged Olympic Peninsula.
