About this postcard

A dirt road or path runs beneath a canopy of large elm trees toward the buildings of Andover Theological Seminary. A white building with arched windows stands at the right. The seminary, founded in 1807, trained Congregationalist ministers and remained in Andover until its move to Cambridge in 1908; its elm-lined approach gave the campus a shaded entry.
