A decorative still-life arrangement: a footed bowl holding a pineapple, dark bunches of grapes and rosy apples or peaches, with a purple fish below at left and small pink root vegetables (radishes or turnips) with leaves at lower right. The picture is worked in deep die-pressed relief rather than flat printing, a style of embossed novelty card popular in the early 1900s, when such relief ornaments were sold and mailed as small decorative gifts.
