The view looks across a broad lawn and bare deciduous trees toward the multi-story brick works of the American Waltham Watch Co. A tall smokestack and a spire-topped tower rise above the rooflines, and a picket fence runs along the grounds. Waltham was home to one of the earliest American watch factories, and the company's complex was among the city's major employers in the early 1900s, producing affordable pocket watches in quantity for a growing national market.
Wide white margin at bottom carrying the printed caption; dark smudge/stain at right edge and light surface soiling; undivided-era style stock.
No postmark, stamp, address, or message — back is entirely unused. Undivided back ("This side for the Address."), red-printed Rotograph imprint along left edge, stamp box top right reading "Place Stamp Here / Domestic One cent / Foreign Two cents". Light pencil scribble at top center; scattered foxing/stains. Front is a borderless black-and-white view card.
