A monochrome view across a broad lawn planted with bare deciduous trees toward the large multi-story brick factory buildings of the American Waltham Watch Co. A tall smokestack and a tower with a spire rise above the rooflines, with a picket fence running along the grounds.
Wide white margin at bottom carrying the printed caption; dark smudge/stain at right edge and light surface soiling; undivided-era style stock.
No postmark, stamp, address, or message — back is entirely unused. Undivided back ("This side for the Address."), red-printed Rotograph imprint along left edge, stamp box top right reading "Place Stamp Here / Domestic One cent / Foreign Two cents". Light pencil scribble at top center; scattered foxing/stains. Front is a borderless black-and-white view card.
