A farmyard with a large barn on the left and a smaller shed on the right, divided by a stone wall that runs across the foreground. A sign near the center reads "THIS FARM FOR SALE." Trees stand behind the buildings, and the stone wall continues into the background. The sign turns an ordinary working farm into a record of a property changing hands, a familiar sight in rural areas as families sold land or consolidated farms in the early 20th century.
Sepia-toned real photo; light stains and scratches in sky; sign in image reads "THIS FARM FOR SALE".
No postmark and no stamp present. Divided-back 'POST CARD' with 'CORRESPONDENCE / NAME AND ADDRESS' and a scroll-monogram stamp box ('PLACE POSTAGE STAMP HERE'). Faint pencil dealer notes at top: 'CONN' (upper left) and 'RMLT 6-' (upper center). Sepia-toned card, light edge wear and slight soiling; front is a full-bleed sepia view with no white border.
