About this postcard

A two-story clapboard farmhouse with a lower attached wing, dark shutters, and a small outbuilding at the right, set on a grassy lawn among large bare trees. The bare branches suggest early spring. Cedar Hill is a Waltham locality. By the 1920s Waltham was a manufacturing city known especially for watchmaking, and farmhouses like this one recalled the area's rural past.
