A still-life arrangement of three ripe oranges nestled among dark green citrus leaves and clusters of white, star-shaped orange blossoms against a mottled gray-blue ground. The card is captioned "Florida Oranges and Blossoms," a standard souvenir subject celebrating the state's citrus industry, which expanded rapidly after the railroad building of the late nineteenth century made Florida fruit shippable to northern markets. Orange blossoms are also Florida's state flower and a long-standing emblem of the state.
