A German Easter greeting card showing two children in black silhouette kissing inside a circular frame, the girl wearing a pale blue bonnet with a pink bow, framed by two branches of pussy willow (Palmkätzchen), a traditional German Easter and spring symbol. Such silhouette greeting cards were popular in Germany in the early 20th century and were widely exported.
Aged, soiled and slightly foxed stock with worn corners; no white border. Artist signature printed at lower left inside the circle (appears to read 'F. Bauriedl').
Postmark: BERLIN 29.3.09 6-7N. German Reich 10 Pf stamp; privately printed multilingual "Carte postale — Postkarte" back with divided layout; light toning and slight corner wear.
