A German Easter greeting card showing two children in black silhouette kissing inside a circular frame, the girl wearing a pale blue bonnet with a pink bow, framed by two branches of pussy willow (Palmkätzchen), a traditional German Easter and spring symbol. The greeting 'Fröhliche Ostern!' ('Happy Easter!') is lettered above in red and black script. Such silhouette greeting cards were popular in Germany in the early 20th century and were widely exported.
