About this postcard
The display promotes Frigidaire's Conditionair year-round home heating and cooling system inside General Motors' Futurama pavilion at the 1964 New York World's Fair. Two armchairs sit on a raised circular platform before a backlit window panel, while a large blue hexagonal sign lists the system's features and applications. Frigidaire, a GM division, presented appliances as part of the fair's corporate vision of future living. Visitors could also see Delco Appliance exhibits at the GM Futurama and the House of Good Taste.
