A small girl in a white dress and a large white hair bow stands inside a child's canvas teepee pitched on the grass beside a clapboard house with shuttered windows and a railed porch. The teepee's poles cross at the top above a dark triangular opening.
Play teepees were a common nursery toy in the early 1900s, when dime novels and touring Wild West shows made Indian play a familiar part of childhood. The setting is an ordinary domestic yard, and nothing on the card names the child or the town.
