About this postcard

Gog and Magog, the legendary giants of London, stand in a stone archway at the Sir John Bennett jewelry shop clock in Greenfield Village. The carved wooden figures flank the bell, hammers raised to strike the hour, with smaller figures and bells behind them. The shop was once a landmark on Goldsmith's Row in London before it was moved to Dearborn as part of Henry Ford's open-air museum. The London giants and the old shop give an Old World accent to the mostly American village.
