The card shows the Grant Monument in Chicago's Lincoln Park: a bronze equestrian statue of General Ulysses S. Grant standing atop a stone pedestal, which rises above a terraced limestone structure with arched openings and a bridge-like approach, framed by shrubs and lawn. The monument, with its equestrian figure by sculptor Louis T. Rebisso, was dedicated in 1891 and remains one of the largest equestrian memorials in the United States. Lincoln Park, established in the 1860s on the city's north side, is Chicago's largest public park.
