A large-letter "Greetings from Arkansas" card, the state name in oversized outlined capitals, each letter filled with a different Arkansas view: a columned building, a waterfall, a domed government building, rock formations, a tower, and a clock-tower building. Dogwood blossoms appear at the lower right and a banjo-playing figure at the upper left. Curt Teich of Chicago issued these large-letter "C.T. Art-Colortone" cards from the 1930s into the 1950s, using the state name as a frame for tourist scenes.
Linen texture; large-letter design; cream border.
Unused card: no postmark, no message, no address. Linen-era Curt Teich "C.T. Art-Colortone" stock with divided back and white border; light soiling/toning on the blank back.
