Greetings from FORT WAYNE --- 1. Lincoln Tower and Allen County Court House 2. War Memorial Coliseum 3. Rose Gardens, Lakeside Park. 4. General Anthony Wayne Statue 5. Johnny Appleseed Grave Site 6. MacDougal Chapel, Cathedral Square. Few cities in America have a more colorful history than FORT WAYNE. The present site, because of its location, was an important center of early American life long before the coming of the white man. Dedicated as a FORT in 1794, incorporated as a Town in 1829, became a City in 1840. Fort Wayne is also well known as the home of the now world famous ZOLLNER PISTON Professional Basket Ball Team.
