Greetings from Warsaw, Indiana — country road with cows, a child and a dog, circa 1915

About this postcard
A tinted rural view used as a greeting card: a dirt road curves past a white picket fence and flower beds, with a small child and a black-and-white dog walking toward the viewer. Beyond the fence a herd of dairy cows grazes in a pasture below a white farmhouse and trees, a telephone pole stands at the roadside, and a golden field rises on the right. Warsaw is the county seat of Kosciusko County in northern Indiana, an area of lakes and farmland, and this kind of generic 'Greetings from' scene was a stock view sold by local dealers.
