A circular white marble colonnade with a low domed roof stands on a broad lawn among scattered shade trees, shown at sunset with pink and blue clouds behind it. The printed caption identifies it as the Harding Memorial in Marion, Ohio, the tomb of President Warren G. Harding, who died in office in 1923, and his wife Florence Kling Harding. The memorial, designed by Henry Hornbostel and built of Georgia marble, was dedicated in 1927 and remains a landmark of Harding's hometown.
