About this postcard

A long, low causeway bridge with a single steel truss span stretches across the water between Biloxi and Ocean Springs, Mississippi, seen from a landscaped shore with a palm tree, shrubs and a street lamp in the foreground. The card labels it as the Highway 90 bridge, part of the Old Spanish Trail coastal route along the Mississippi Sound. The Biloxi–Ocean Springs crossing was long served by this low trestle-style structure before the modern high-rise Biloxi Bay Bridge replaced it in the 1960s.
