About this postcard

A shoreline boat landing on Lake Winnipesaukee at Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, with a red clapboard boathouse and shed, a wooden dock, and a tall hoist frame at the right. Numerous canoes and rowboats are drawn up on the sand or moored at the float, and a few figures in dark clothing stand about the landing, one holding a red parasol in a boat at the lower right. Hobbs Landing was one of several steamer and livery landings serving summer visitors on Wolfeboro Bay in the early twentieth century.
