About this postcard
A romantic vignette of a young man and woman kissing, framed by dense honeysuckle foliage and pale yellow-white blossoms; the woman wears a striped dress with a lace collar and holds a spray of vines. The word "HONEYSUCKLES" is printed across the lower portion in large shaded letters. Such floral-framed courtship scenes were a staple of early twentieth-century greeting and holiday postcards, when honeysuckle symbolized devoted affection.
