About this postcard

A tinted view looks down the Niagara River toward the curving crest of Horseshoe Falls, its spray rising into a pale sky, with the wooded Canadian bank and the grounds of Victoria Park in the foreground. A broad drive with trolley tracks, a small pavilion, pedestrians and parked automobiles line the park side of the river. Victoria Park was laid out on the Canadian bank beside the falls in the late 19th century and became a favored promenade and viewing ground for visitors to Niagara Falls, Ontario.
