The illustration centers on a horseshoe tied with a blue ribbon above a dense spray of lily of the valley, with two red hearts, a four-leaf clover, and a ladybug tucked into the design. A crawling child and a puppy wearing a red bow fill the lower edge. The horseshoe, clover, and ladybug are traditional tokens of good luck, while the lily of the valley suggests spring and renewal. Mailed in late December 1906 with a short message of love from M. Richardson, the card served as a general greeting rather than a Christmas scene.
White border; handwritten message on front.
