A black-and-white halftone view of the Hotel Lincoln, a tall brick and stone hotel tower with Art Deco setbacks rising to a flag-topped mast, seen from a low corner angle above surrounding rooftops. The Hotel Lincoln opened in 1928 at Eighth Avenue and West 44th Street in Manhattan, a 27-story house built in the boom of Times Square-area hotel construction; it later operated under other names, including the Milford Plaza. The card's caption names the building and city directly.

get here as we'd planned,
last evening at 11:25.
This morning we wandered
around on foot, mostly
on 5th Avenue. Horine
Whitten came in to meet
us this afternoon and we
went to the model show.
It really was darn good.
We lunched at the
[illegible]
and just spent about an hour
[illegible]
but very clever and extremely amusing.
