A color-printed comic view of an Irish jaunting car: a white horse trots along a park road pulling a two-wheeled side-seat car, with a bowler-hatted driver and three passengers, one holding a bright red parasol. Behind them rises the Wellington Testimonial, the tall granite obelisk erected in Phoenix Park, Dublin, in the 1860s to honour the Duke of Wellington. The verse beneath names Dublin landmarks and amusements of the day, including Raheny, the Strand and Phoenix Park.
Wide white border at bottom carrying the printed title and verse; light edge wear and slight toning along the lower margin.
No postmark. Divided-back British "POST CARD." with the "except to the United States, Japan, and Spain" clause (c. 1903-1907); "PRINTED IN SAXONY" imprint. Card lightly toned/soiled, no writing.
