An elevated view looks down on the Judson L. Thomson Mfg. Co. plant, a sprawling group of long, flat-roofed mill buildings with rows of windows. A smaller detached block stands at the left, and a tall smokestack rises at the right edge. Open fields and scattered trees surround the complex, placing the works at the edge of town.
The image promoted the company's rivets and rivet setting machinery, goods used in construction, shipbuilding, and metalwork in the early 20th century.
Sepia monochrome print; worn corners and light surface blemishes/scuffs, especially upper right; no printed text or handwriting on the front.
No postmark (unused card). Divided-back advertising card, white border, printed "POST CARD", "CORRESPONDENCE" and "ADDRESS" headings with a printed 2c postage stamp box; printed copyright 1928 C.W. Potter; ad copy for Judson L. Thomson Mfg. Co. (rivets and rivet setting machinery). Corner stains from mounting; no stamp affixed, no handwriting.
