A view looks down a broad paved street at the junction of 9th, Delaware and Main Streets in Kansas City. Trolley tracks run down the center, storefronts and awnings line both sides, and pedestrians in early-20th-century dress walk the sidewalks. Painted signs for cigars and other goods hang from the commercial blocks on the right, and a towered building rises at the end of the vista. The crossing was part of downtown Kansas City's commercial district, where street railways and storefronts met.
White border; black-and-white halftone print with red printed caption and publisher line; faint diagonal crease/line across the upper left sky area.
No postmark; unused card. Undivided back with "THIS SIDE IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE ADDRESS." and a stamp box reading "DOMESTIC ONE CENT / FOREIGN TWO CENTS" — typical of the undivided-back era (c. 1901–1907). Front shows a white border and a coarse halftone print; light soiling and corner wear on the back.
