About this postcard
A halftone view looking down a broad paved street at the junction of 9th, Delaware and Main Streets in Kansas City, with trolley tracks running down the center, storefronts and awnings lining both sides, and pedestrians in early-20th-century dress on the sidewalks. Painted signs for cigars and other goods hang from the commercial blocks on the right, and a towered building rises at the end of the vista. The card is one of the numbered street views issued by Milwaukee publisher C. C. Kropp in the pre-World War I era.
