About this postcard

A view across Lake Massabesic from Kimball Point, framed by overhanging trees and the corner of a wooden porch or boathouse roof, with a small boat and figures visible on the water. Lake Massabesic, just east of Manchester, New Hampshire, was the city's water-supply lake and a popular early-20th-century outing spot for boating, picnicking and shore cottages. The printed caption names the point on the lake's shore where the view was taken.
