The corner of the Ladies' Rest Room at the Riverside Club, the Waltham Watch Company's social club, is set up as a comfortable lounge. Wicker chairs and a settee surround a round table, and a tiled fireplace fills one side of the room. In the early twentieth century, a rest room in a company club served as a place for women employees and guests to sit, read, or take a break. The Waltham Watch Company was one of the country's leading watch manufacturers, and its works shaped the town of Waltham, Massachusetts.
