A grassy, tree-dotted hillside slopes down toward Lake Sunapee, with a small sailboat on the water and layered hills under a cloudy sky. The view is from Garnet Hill, a hill above the lake in Newbury, New Hampshire. In the early 1900s Lake Sunapee was a summer resort area, and elevated views like this were common souvenirs for visitors.
