A black-and-white view of a quiet lake narrowing between heavily wooded shores, with a low tree line along the far horizon and leafy branches intruding at the lower right. The card's own caption places the scene at Walker, Minnesota, a small city in Cass County in the state's north-woods lake country, on the shore of Leech Lake. Cards of this plain photographic style were commonly sold as local souvenir views in the mid-twentieth century.
White border; black-and-white photo-offset image with the number 152 printed in the negative at lower left; light edge wear and a small spot at the right edge.
No postmark; unused card. Divided-back "POST CARD" with Herman the Printer imprint (Minocqua, Wis.) and vertical "NOVELTY & SCENIC VIEWS POSTAL" at right. Heavy foxing/toning spots across the back; no handwriting.
