A large crowd of people, many wearing hats and holding umbrellas, gathered on a wooded hillside. In the lower right, a few men stand on a raised platform or speak to the crowd. The scene is a sepia-toned real photo postcard.
Sepia real photo; white border around image; blue 'D' mark lower left; some wear.
No postmark, no address, no message — back is entirely blank apart from the printed heading. Divided-back real-photo card; front credits R.E. Mayall, Waltham, suggesting ca. 1910s. Light soiling and a faint crease lower left; no stamp present.
