About this postcard

A view across Lindenlure Lake, with trees turning red and gold along the shore and a small dam or spillway at the far end of the water. The caption promotes the scene as part of the Ozarks, "land of a million smiles," a tourism phrase for the Missouri Ozarks. Lindenlure was a small resort community in Christian County, Missouri, and the lake drew vacationers to the Ozarks.
