Wooden lobster pots and traps are heaped on the grassy shore in front of weathered shingled fish houses, with a red-roofed shed and a utility pole behind. Little Boar's Head is a rocky headland on the New Hampshire coast in North Hampton, a summer resort area known for its hotels and shore fishing in the early 20th century. The slatted lath pots were standard New England lobster gear before wire traps became common.
