Lover's Lane in Lincoln Park, Chicago, is shown as a curving walk edged with beds of red and white flowers. Lawn, trees, and a small pond at left frame the path, and a few visitors sit on benches. By 1911 Lincoln Park was a well-established North Side public park, and its formal plantings and shaded walks made it a popular place for strolling. The printed caption gives the path its romantic name.
