About this postcard

A curving seaside boulevard at King's Beach, with a large gambrel-roofed house and smaller cottages on the left, a horse-drawn carriage and a wagon on the road, and a railed walk along the water at right where a few figures stroll. King's Beach lies on the Lynn/Swampscott line north of Boston, and the Lynn Shore Boulevard (later part of the Lynn Shore Drive) was laid out along the shore in the late 19th century as a scenic drive linking the resort beaches of the North Shore.
