About this postcard
A wide unpaved intersection where Main and Back Streets meet, with a green lawn and a stone church with a tall spire at the center; a trolley car of the local street railway stands at the left beside a brick commercial block, and rows of shade trees line the roads. Unionville, in the Farmington Valley, was a small mill village of Farmington township, and the electric trolley seen here connected it with neighboring towns in the early 20th century. The stone church facing the green is the visual anchor of the view.
