A busy view west along Main Street in Dallas, with multi-story brick and stone commercial blocks lining both sides, a streetcar in the center of the roadway, horse-drawn wagons and buggies at the curbs, and pedestrians and cyclists crossing the unpaved street. Painted signs advertise drugs (Buckhanan, Druggist), W. T. Leslie paints and oils, and the Dallas Floral Co. florists. By the early 1900s Dallas had grown into a major cotton and railroad center, and Main Street was its principal commercial thoroughfare, crowded with shops, saloons and offices.
Narrow white margin at bottom edge; small printed shield/'T' trademark in lower-left corner; slight wear at corners.
Postmark: DALLAS, TEX. DEC 2 6-AM 1908. Divided back; Tuck's post card; photochromed in Saxony; light edge wear.
