A tinted view looking down Main Street in Norfolk, centered on a streetcar and its tracks in the cobbled roadway. Pedestrians in period dress crowd the sidewalk in front of storefronts on the left, while a tall brick commercial block with striped awnings and a columned building with steps line the right. The scene dates from the summer of the Jamestown Ter-Centennial Exposition, when Norfolk's downtown streets carried local traffic and exposition visitors.
White margin at right carrying the printed caption and a handwritten message; undivided-back era card with flat printed color typical of chromolithography.
