About this postcard

Looking down Main Street in Waltham, Massachusetts, the view follows trolley tracks along an unpaved roadway. Trees shade both sides, houses stand on the left, and an early automobile is parked on the right. The tracks point to the streetcar service that connected Waltham's neighborhoods in the early 1900s, when the city was a manufacturing center west of Boston.
