About this postcard

Major Domo, a tall red sandstone spire, rises above scrub and scattered trees in the Garden of the Gods near Colorado Springs. The formation is one of the named red rock features that made the park a popular scenic stop in the early 1900s. Manitou, the resort town at the foot of Pikes Peak, was a common starting point for tourists exploring the Garden and nearby mountain attractions.
