A bundled-up man in a long coat, green hat, and red scarf leans on a walking stick as he trudges through a heavy snowstorm. A dachshund follows at his heels, and a small snow-dusted evergreen with red berries stands at the left. Behind him, a snow-covered house and rail fence fade into the squall.
The card's greeting is a simple Christmas wish. Christmas postcards were a common early twentieth-century custom, when illustrated holiday greetings were exchanged in large numbers.
White border; gilt-printed greeting; light surface wear and staining at upper left corner; snow rendered with diagonal white streaks.
