A tall, blocky stone Masonic Temple rises above a street corner, shown in a tinted view with a small frame house at left and trees and a low building at right. The building's severe, stripped-classical massing with pilaster-like vertical panels and a stepped parapet matches the Davenport Masonic Temple, a fraternal hall serving the city's Masonic lodges. The card is a linen-era view printed in the mid-20th century.
Linen texture with visible crosshatch; white border; card number 5A-H762 printed at lower right.
No postmark or handwriting; unused back. Undivided back with "PLACE ONE CENT STAMP HERE" box, linen-era Curteich stock (5A-H762 on front), white border.
