About this postcard

The card shows a snowy winter landscape with tall bare trees and a small green stream or thawed patch, beside the printed greeting "Merry Christmas" and a verse beginning "Straight from my heart to you." Such illustrated holiday postcards were widely produced in the early 20th century, often combining a scenic vignette with a short sentimental rhyme.
