About this postcard

The printed caption names the school as the medical department of Marquette University. Addie's note to Vena Cinnamond in Rutland describes a five-week stay at Trinity Hospital in Milwaukee after a serious operation; she writes that she is going home that night.

Milwaukee, Trinity Hospital. Dear Ora, Here is where I have been for five weeks. Have had a most serious operation. It has sur- prised the doctors that I lived. Have been laid up unable to do a thing since last August. I go home to-night on sleeper. Love to all Addie.
