MONKEY MOUND, OVERTON PARK, MEMPHIS, TENN.—54 --- An oval moat, 27½ ft. wide and 491 ft. in circum-ference, surrounds the island mound which slopes up from the water to a 20 ft. peak. Rustic stone entrances give access to the monkey quarters in the mound's in-terior.
