Moody St. looking south from bridge, Waltham, MA, 1913

About this postcard

The view looks south from the bridge into Moody Street, the downtown commercial street in Waltham, Massachusetts. A horse-drawn wagon and pedestrians occupy the roadway, and brick storefronts line the left side, where a yellow sign reads "Old Grist Mill." Waltham's mills and watch works made it a busy manufacturing city, and Moody Street was its downtown shopping street.
